Swiss inspired takes on gothic classics
Design created in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
The goal was to create a modernist style book sleeves, while maintaining elements of gothic horror and staying thematic to the books. I chose to implement a sans serif typeface, using the Helvetica type family. This maintains the novel's bold and impactful tone. I used simple color palettes either one accent color. The white elements stand out, adding tension, and leading the eye down towards the title. Additionally, I placed elements on the back, geometric nods to the story.
