Swiss take on a gothic classic

PROCESS AND WORK
The goal was to create a modernist style book sleeve or cover designs, while maintaining elements of gothic horror and staying thematic to the books. I chose to implement a sans serif typeface, using the Helvetica type family, and pairing it with my custom typeface called “teeth" This maintains the novel's bold and impactful tone. I used simple color palettes either one accent color. The white elements stand out, adding tension, and leading the eye down towards the title. Additionally, I placed elements on the back, geometric nods to the story.
